Saat ini, David memuncaki posisi top skor dengan koleksi 26 gol dalam musim reguler series.
Catatan itu masih bisa bertambah seiring dengan laju Persib Bandung di championship series mendatang.
Terdapat maksimal empat pertandingan lagi bagi David da Silva untuk mencetak gol.
Namun terlepas dari itu semua, sebenarnya David da Silva bisa didapuk lebih dulu dengan gelar top skor Liga 1 musim ini.
Pasalnya pemain 34 tahun ini sudah tanpa pesaing jelang champioship series.
Di mana untuk tiga tim peserta championship lainnya, tidak ada yang mengirimkan satu pemain pun untuk mendekati raihan gol dari David.

Raihan tersebut serupa dengan Jefferson de Asis untuk Bali United.
Sedangkan Madura United yang meminjamkan Junior Brando ke Bhayangkara FC kini tinggal bergantung kepada Malik Risaldi dengan 10 golnya.
Walhasil sulit bagi para top skor dari masing-masing klub untuk menyamai David da Silva pada empat pertandingan mendatang.
Adapun dalam jajaran top skor teratas saat ini, didominasi oleh striker klub yang telah tak lanjut ke championship series.
Untuk posisi runner-up terdapat Adilson Silva (Persik Kediri), lalu berlanjut Alex Martins (Dewa United), Junior Brandao (Bhayangkara FC), dan Gustavo Almeida (Persija Jakarta).
Jumlah raihan dari masing-masing striker tersebut dipastikan tidak bertambaha seiring dengan nasib klub di championship series Liga 1.
