Ketua BTN Indonesia, Sumardji membocorkan dua nama dari 26 pemain yang akan diboyong Shin Tae-yong untuk gabung pemusatan latihan (TC) Timnas U23 Indonesia ke Dubai.
Pemusatan latihan Timnas Indonesia tersebut guna mempersiapkan ajang Piala Asia U23 2024 yang digelar di Qatar.
Dikutip dari Bola Sport, TC Timnas U23 Indonesia akan dimulai pada 31 Maret 2024.
Setidaknya dua minggu sebelum Garuda Muda mentas di turnamen Piala Asia 2024.
Dikutip dari Tribun Jakarta, Timnas U23 Indonesia akan menggelar tiga uji coba di Dubai.
\”Rencananya itu tanggal 3 April, 6, dan 9 di sana,\” ucap Sumardji.
Meski belum dipastikan, Timnas U23 Indonesia direncanakan melawan tiga tim dari Timur Tengah.
Dijadwalkan Timnas Indonesia akan menantang tuan rumah Qatar pada 15 April 2024 sebagai laga pembuka.
Selain Qatar, Timnas U23 Indonesia juga bakal bentrok dengan Australia dan Yordania.
Untuk mematangkan pertandingan tersebut, Pelatih Timnas U23 Indonesia Shin Tae-yong dikabarkan akan memboyong 26 pemain.
\”Kami bawa 26 pemain,\” kata Ketua Badan Tim Nasional, Sumardji dikutip dari Bola Sport.
Menurut Sumardji, Shin Tae-yong telah mendapatkan restu dari beberapa tim untuk meminjam pemain muda untuk membela Garuda Muda.
\”Kami sudah bicara dengan teman-teman di klub, mereka mendukung,\” kata Sumardji.
