Sebab, Elkan Baggott kini sedang cedera dan telah absen sejak FIFA Matchday edisi Maret 2024.
Bahkan, bek Bristol Rovers itu juga tidak dipanggil Shin Tae-yong ke Timnas Indonesia untuk melawan Vietnam di FIFA Matchday Maret 2024.
Berdasarkan pengumuman dari PSSI, Elkan Baggott absen karena mengalami cedera.

“Sebanyak tiga pemain, yakni Jordi Amat, Elkan Baggott, dan Yance Sayuri dipastikan absen memperkuat timnas Indonesia melawan Vietnam,\” tulis PSSI.
“Hal ini karena tiga pemain tersebut mengalami cedera,” tambahnya.
Setelah menjadi tanda tanya, kini cedera yang dialami Elkan Baggott pun akhirnya terbongkar.
Pelatih Bristol Rovers, Matt Taylor pun membongkar cedera misterius dari bek berpostur 194 cm itu.
Dikatakan Matt Taylor, saat ini Elkan Baggott mengalami masalah pada betisnya.
\”Elkan Baggott tidak ikut tugas internasional karena masalah betis yang dideritanya,\” kata Matt Taylor dikutip dari laman resmi Bristol Rovers, Jumat (29/3/2024).
Matt Taylor pun mengaku belum tahu kapan Elkan Baggott akan pulih.
\”Saya rasa tidak ada pemain yang segera kembali,\” sambungnya.
