Timnas U23 Indonesia kembali akan tampil di Piala Asia U23 2024 pada matchday kedua Grup A melawan Australia di Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Stadium, Doha, Qatar pada Kamis (18/4/2024) pukul 20.00 WIB.
Raihan tiga poin penuh sangat berarti demi memperlebar kelolosan ke babak selanjutnya.
Saat ini Timnas U23 Indonesia bertengger di dasar klasemen dengan raihan nol poin.
Sedangkan Australia berada di urutan kedua dengan mengemas satu angka.
Menjelang laga, pemain asal Persik Kediri Jeam Kelly Sroyer turut buka suara terkait strategi yang bakal dipakai Timnas U23 Indonesia saat menghadapi Australia.
Menurutnya, skuad Garuda bakal anti parkir bus demi meraih kemenangan.

\”Enggak boleh bertahan karena kami mengejar target tiga poin,\” kata Jeam Kelly Sroyer dikutip dari PSSI.
Pemain berusia 21 tahun itu menjelaskan bahwa saat ini skuad Garuda dalam kondisi siap tempur.

Di sisi lain, Timnas U23 Indonesia ditargetkan oleh PSSI minimal lolos dari fase grup atau tampil di perempat final (8 besar).
Bahkan itu juga menjadi target Shin Tae-yong agar diperpanjang kontraknya di Timnas Indonesia.
Harapan juga tertuah agar Timnas U23 Indonesia dapat tampil di Olimpiade Paris 2024.
