Daftar lengkap pemenang MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) 2024 rampung diumumkan dari UBS Arena, New York, pada Rabu (11/9) malam waktu setempat atau Kamis (12/9) pagi waktu Indonesia.
Dalam acara tersebut, Taylor Swift berhasil mengumpulkan tujuh piala dari 12 nominasi termasuk kategori utama, Video of the Year, yang sekaligus menjadikan dirinya sebagai jawara umum MTV VMA 2024.Taylor Swift Singgung Tragedi 9/11 Kala Menang Best Collaboration VMACapaian itu menjadikan Swift sebagai peraih MTV VMA terbanyak dalam sejarah, dengan total perolehan tahun ini menjadi 29 piala. Ia mengalahkan Beyonce yang sebelumnya mengumpulkan 27 piala.
Tahun ini pula menjadi capaian bersejarah bagi Sabrina Carpenter yang meraih piala MTV VMA pertamanya berkat lagu hit Espresso dalam kategori Song of the Year.
Sementara itu, Katy Perry resmi didaulat sebagai penerima piala MTV Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award 2024 atas dedikasinya dalam industri dan kreativitas video musik selama ini.
