Ia justru memberikannya kepada pemain senior Inter Miami lainnya, Julian Gressel.
Pada akhirnya, Gressel yang melakukan team talk atau motivasi sebelum pertandingan.
Rupanya tindakan Messi itu mendapat perhatian khusus dari Gressel.
Gressel mengapresiasi tindakan La Pulga tersebut.
Ia turut menceritakan detail saat peraih penghargaan tujuh Ballon d\’Or itu.
Sebenarnya tugas memberikan motivasi sebelum laga menjadi tanggung jawab dari DeAndre Yedlin.
