Alarm berbahaya untuk Borneo FC mulai berbunyi nyaring setelah memutus rekor tak terkalahkan di Liga 1 2023/2024.
Borneo FC harus tertunduk malu di tangan Madura United pada pekan 31 Liga 1, Rabu (17/4/2024) sore.
Madura United yang bermain sebagai tamu mampu memcabik-cabik sisi pertahanan Pesut Etam.
Padahal selama ini pertahanan Borneo FC mampu mencatatkan laga tak terkalahkan dalam 19 pertandingan beruntun.
Borneo FC harus kebobolan tiga gol dengan skema yang hampir serupa.
Ialah melalui serangan balik cepat yang dilancarkan oleh Madura United.
Dengan cara itu, bergiliran pemain Madura United Malik Risaldi (44\’), Francisco Rivera (52\’) dan Hugo Gomes alias Jaja (57\’), Bayu Gatra (90+2\’) menjebol gawang yang dijaga Nadeo Argawinata.
Khusus Francisco Rivera tak hanya menyumbang gol namun juga turut mencatatkan assist kepada tiga rekannya tersebut.
Adapun selain serangan yang berbuah gol, Madura United juga sempat merepotkan Borneo FC melalui beberapa serangan.
Salah satunya ialah aksi Dalberto (13\’) yang sepakannya melenceng sedikit dari gawang Nadeo.
Meski kekalahan Borneo FC 0-4 tak mengubah apapun tentang kelolosan mereka ke Championship Series, namun hal ini bisa menjadi alarm bahaya bagi Lilipaly dkk.
Pasalnya Championship Series bakal bertanding dengan tiga klub terbaik lainnya yang tentu memiliki ambisi kuat agar meraih gelar juara musim ini.
Pelatih Borneo FC, Pieter Huistra mengaku permainan anak asuhnya bukanlah permainan terbaik mereka.
