Anthony Ginting Bertemu Kidambi di Partai Awal Kejuaraan Asia 2024: Saya Sudah Tahu Pola Dia
TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA – Pebulutangkis tunggal putra Indonesia, Anthony Sinisuka Ginting hari ini, Selasa (9/4/2024) menjalani latihan terakhir jelang tampil pada pada Kejuaraan Asia yang dimulai esok di Ningbo Olympic Sports Centre Gymnasium, Ningbo, China.
Anthony Sinisuka Ginting dkk. berlatih secara bergantian sekitar tiga jam.
Ginting bersama Jonatan Christie melahap porsi latihan yang diberikan kepala pelatih tunggal putra Irwansyah.
Latihan ini menjadi persiapan terakhir sebelum Ginting dan Jojo melakoni pertandingan babak pertama ajang yang setara BWF World Tour Super 1000 tersebut.
“Puji Tuhan semua persiapan berjalan baik dan juga sudah mencoba lapangan. Tinggal persiapan pertandingan besok dengan berdiskusi dengan pelatih,” kata Ginting seusai berlatih.
Di babak pembuka, Ginting akan bersua Kidambi Srikanth asal India.
Menurut sang juara bertahan, partai ini pun akan dilalui tidak dengan mudah.
“Dengan Kidambi Srikanth saya juga sudah sering bertemu. Sudah tahu bagaimana pola permainannya. Rasanya lebih banyak mempersiapkan pada diri sendiri saja,” ujar Ginting.
“Bagaimana kesiapan pikiran, badannya, otot-ototnya. Saya nggak terlalu berpikir saya adalah juara bertahan. Semuanya kini punya peluang yang sama,” pungkasnya.
