Chelsea perlu melepas beberapa pemain berharganya untuk menghindari sanksi Financial Fair Play (FFP) yang terus digalakkan di Premier League Liga Inggris.
Klub asal London Selatan, Chelsea disebut perlu menghasilkan lebih dari 100 juta pounds atau sekitar Rp2 triliun musim panas 2024.
Hal itu diungkapkan mantan penasihat keuangan Manchester City, Stefan Borson.
Tim seperti Everton dan Nottingham Forest telah terkena pengurangan poin musim ini setelah mereka didakwa melanggar peraturan FFP Liga Inggris.

Kedua klub itu merugi sebesar 105 juta pounds (Rp2 triliun) dalam periode tiga tahun, atau 35 juta pounds setiap musim.

Pakar keuangan sepak bola Stefan Borson yakin Chelsea mungkin akan mendapat hukuman yang lebih berat dari Liga Premier dibandingkan dengan Everton dan Forest.
\”Saya pikir skala kerugian yang mereka perkirakan saat ini, bagi saya, tampaknya jauh melebihi kerugian yang dialami Everton dan Nottingham Forest,\” kata Borson kepada talkSPORT.
Borson yakin Chelsea perlu menjual beberapa pemain tim utamanya sebelum batas waktu FFP pada 30 Juni.
Pihaknya berasumsi cara bermain Chelsea pada Mason Mount karena ia telah diumumkan di website Manchester United pada 1 Juli sehingga penjualannya telah dilakukan pada musim ini.
Jadi terdapat keuntungan 55 juta pounds pada musim ini.
Hal itu mengungkap bahwa Mason Mount tampaknya telah ditransaksikan pada tahun 2022/2023.
Chelsea memiliki lubang senilai £55 juta musim ini.
Dari sudut pandang operasional akan menjadi lebih buruk karena mereka tidak punya Liga Champions dan Eropa sama sekali.
