Mark Hughes merupakan mantan pemain Manchester United di era 1988 hingga 1995.
Selama membela Manchester United, Mark Hughes mencatatkan 151 gol dalam 432 penampilan di semua kompetisi.
Adapun kontribusi lainnya striker asal Wales itu adalah memenangkan 13 gelar, dua di antaranya Liga Inggris.
Mantan rekan setim Hughes ketika di Manchester United, Paul Parker mengatakan bahwa Hojlund bisa menjadi titisannya.
Ia berpendapat bahwa, Hojlund dan Hughes tipikal striker yang punya insting gol mematikan.
