Sejak pertama kali digelar pada 1956, Timnas Jepang telah mengoleksi gelar juara Piala Asia sebanyak empat kali.
Timnas Jepang mencatatkan diri sebagai juara Piala Asia edisi 1992, 2000, 2007 dan 2011.
Tentu, catatan manis tersebut menjadi bukti nyata betapa ngerinya Timnas Jepang yang merupakan calon lawan Indonesia di Piala Asia 2024.
