TRIBUNNEWS.COM- Shin Tae-yong dikenal dengan gebrakan memotong generasi Timnas Indonesia terdahulu untuk menggantinya dengan pemain muda.
Seperti yang sekarang ini terjadi dalam skuad pemusatan latihan (TC) di Turki menjelang Piala Asia 2023 Qatar (12 Januari-10 Februari 2024).
Dilansir melalui Transfermakrt, rata-rata usia pemain Timnas Indonesia pada TC kali ini ialah 24,3 tahun.
Terhitung cukup muda, bagi skuad yang disebut level senior.Bahkan, dalam daftar TC kali ini, hanya tiga nama saja yang telah menyentuh kepala tiga (usia 30).
Dua di dalam daftar tersebut merupakan sosok pemain naturalisasi.
Lalu selebihnya mayoritas pemain berada di rangeumur 20-24 tahun.
Adapun untuk pemain termuda dijabat oleh penggawa Arema FC, Arkhan Fikri.
Pemain yang mencuat namanya saat persiapan Piala Dunia U20 2023 lalu, baru berusia 18 tahun.
