Dua bek abroad Timnas Indonesia, Shayne Pattynama dan Sandy Walsh bakal bersaing di liga yang sama pada musim 2023/2024.
Liga tersebut adalah Jupiler Pro League atau kasta pertama Liga Belgia.
Sandy Walsh lebih dulu bermain untuk KV Mechelen di Liga Belgia sejak Oktober 2020.
Sementara Shayne Pattynama baru bergabung dengan KAS Eupen pada Jumat (2/2/2024).

Kedua klub bek Timnas Indonesia tersebut dalam posisi yang tidak aman di Liga Belgia.
KAS Eupen saat ini menempati peringkat 13 dari 16 kontestan Liga Belgia.
Peringkat tersebut masuk dalam zona degradasi bersama Oud-Heverlee Leuven, RWDM dan Kortrijk.
KAS Eupen baru mengumpulkan 21 poin dari 23 pertandingan.
Sedangkan KV Mechelen mengoleksi 29 poin dengan jumlah pertandingan yang sama dan saat ini menempati peringkat 9.Menariknya, KV Mechelen klub Sandy Walsh akan bersua dengan klub Shayne Pattynama, KAS Eupen akhir pekan ini.
