Timnas U20 Indonesia dikabarkan akan melakoni laga uji coba melawan Uzbekistan dan Thailand.
Kabar itu diungkapkan oleh Ketua Umum PSSI, Erick Thohir di Stadion Utama Gelora Bung Karno (SUGBK), Senayan, Jakarta Pusat, Senin (8/1/2024).
Adanya laga uji coba itu tentu demi bentuk mengimplementasikan pemusatan latihan (TC) yang selema ini telah dijalankan.
Saat ini, Timnas U20 Indonesia tengah menjalani TC di Jakarta, Indonesia.
Sebelumnya, para penggawa Timnas U20 Indonesia terlebih dahulu melakoni TC di Turki dalam kurun waktu sepekan.
Sayangnya Timnas U20 Indonesia tak melakoni laga uji coba satu pun.
Di sisi lain, adanya pembentukan Timnas U20 Indonesia merupakan cikal bakal skuad Garuda Nusantara.
Diketahui, skuad Garuda Nusantara ini diproyeksikan untuk Piala AFF U19 2024, Kualifikasi AFC U20 2025 dan tentunya Piala Dunia U20 2025 di Chile.

Lebih lanjut, Erick Thohir juga membocorkan venue yang digunakan pada laga uji coba.
Menurutnya, Timnas U20 Indonesia bakal memakai Stadion SUGBK.
Erick Thohir berharap dukukungan penuh dari suporter Timnas Indonesia.
