Arsenal sukses mengambil alih puncak klasemen setelah mengalahkan Brentford dengan skor 2-1 (10/3).
Dua gol Arsenal itu dicetak oleh Declan Rice (19\’) dan Kai Havertz (86\’), sedangkan gol Brentford diukir oleh Yoane Wissa (45+4\’).
Kesuksesan Arsenal nangkring di puncak klasemen tak luput dari hasil imbang Liverpool vs Manchester City yang berkesudahan dengan skor 1-1 (10/3).
Tak ayal, raihan 3 poin Arsenal itu sukses menyalip poin dari Liverpool dan Man City.
Saat ini Arsenal nangkring di puncak dengan mengantongi 64 poin, unggul kolektivitas gol dari Liverpool yang mengoleksi poin yang sama. Sedangkan untuk Man City berada di urutan ketiga dengan 63 angka.
Di waktu yang berbeda, rival sekota Arsenal yakni Chelsea tak beranjak di urutan ke-10 di tabel klasemen Liga Inggris meski berhasil menang.

Diketahui, Chelsea sukses menang dramatis atas Newcastle dengan skor 3-2 pada Selasa (12/3).
Adapun gol Chelsea dicetak oleh Nicolas Jackson (6\’), Cole Palmer (57\’) dan solo run dari Mykhailo Mydryk (76\’).
Sedangkan untuk Newcastle dicetak oleh Alexander Isak (43\’) dan Jacob Murphy (90\’).
Menariknya, Chelsea yang berhasil kembali ke jalur kemenangan setelah bermain imbang dua kali pada pekan selanjutnya akan diuji dengan lawan yang berat.
Mengacu jadwal, Chelsea akan menyambangi markas Arsenal dalam lanjutan pekan ke-29 Liga Inggris 2023/2024.
Namun duel tersebut tampaknya akan ditunda, karena Chelsea akan memainkan Piala FA terlebih dahulu melawan Leicester City pada Minggu (17/3).
Di sisi lain, top skor Liga Inggris musim ini masih dipegang oleh bomber Manchester City yakni Erling Haaland dengan 18 gol. Di urutan kedua, pemain Aston Villa Ollie Watkins membuntuti Haaland dengan 16 gol.
