Maka dari itu, Sandy Walsh pun meminta Marselino Ferdinan untuk segera naik kelas dan bermain di kasta tertinggi di Liga Belgia (Jupiler Pro League).
Seperti diketahui, baik Sandy Walsh dan Marselino Ferdinan saat ini sama-sama berkarier di Liga Belgia.
Sandy Walsh bermain untuk tim kasta pertama, KV Mechelen.
Sedangkan Marselino Ferdinan membela klub kasta kedua, KMSK Deinze.
Baru-baru ini, Sandy Walsh dan Marselino Ferdinan kedapatan melaksanakan kewajibannya sebagai Warga Negara Indonesia, yakni ikut serta dalam Pemilu 2024.
Keduanya, melakukan Pemilu 2024 di KBRI Brussels, Minggu (11/2/2024).
Momen tersebut diabadikan Sandy Walsh melalui YouTube pribadinya.
Disela-sela momen tersebut, Sandy Walsh pun mengungkapkan harapannya soal duel sesama penggawa Garuda yang tersaji di Liga Belgia.
Sebelumnya, duel tersebut telah terjadi saat tim Sandy Walsh (KV Mechelen) melawan tim Shayne Pattynama (KAS Eupen) pada Minggu (4/2/2024).
Kala itu tim Sandy Walsh berhasil memenangi laga dengan skor 1-0.
Meski begitu Sandy Walsh belum puas, maka ia meminta Marselino Ferdinan untuk segera naik kelas ke kasta pertama agar dapat tercipta lebih banyak duel lagi.\”Saya senang karena bisa mengalahkan Shayne (KAS Eupen) dengan skor 1-0,\” ujar Sandy Walsh yang dikutip dari laman YouTubenya.
