Adapun pertandingan yang memperebutkan tiket terakhir lolos olimpiade 2024 tersebut mengalami kemunduran dari jadwal sebelumnya.
Jadwal play-off Timnas Indonesia vs Guinea akan digelar pada Kamis (9/5/2024) di Clairenfontaines, Paris.
Awalnya, kick-off pertandingan antara Garuda Muda melawan Guinea bakal digelar pada pukul 14.00 waktu setempat atau 19.00 WIB.

Namun pada Sabtu (4/5/2024), perubahan kick off dikonfirmasi oleh laman Federasi Sepakbola Guinea (@feguifootofficiel) di instagram.
Asosiasi sepakbola Guinea itu mengabarkan bahwa pertandingan Timnas U23 Indonesia vs Guinea bersifat tertutup dan tanpa penonton.
Selain itu, waktu kick-off yang semula pukul 12:00 GMT mundur ke 13.00 GMT.
\”Guinea akan menghadapi Indonesia pada 9 Mei 2024 di Paris dalam pertandingan play-off kualifikasi untuk turnamen sepak bola putra Olimpiade Paris 2024,\” tulis akun Instagram Federasi Sepakbola Guinea.
\”Awalnya dijadwalkan pada pukul 12:00 GMT, pertandingan akan dimulai pada pukul 13:00 GMT di CNF Clairefontaine secara tertutup,\” ungkapnya.Dengan demikian, maka kick-off laga Timnas U23 Indonesia vs Guinea di wilayah Indonesia adalah pukul 20.00 WIB.
Sementara itu, Asosiasi sepakbola Guinea menjelaskan alasan pertandingan tersebut digelar tertutup karena faktor keamanan.
FIFA akhirnya memutuskan agar pertandingan tidak dihadiri penonton.
Selain itu, pihak berwenang Prancis tidak memberikan rekomendasi pertandingan digelar terbuka demi menghindari ancaman jelang Olimpiade.
