Persebaya Surabaya resmi mengenalkan pelatih kepala baru, Paul Munster.
Mantan pelatih Bhayangkara FC tersebut telah mendarat di Surabaya dan dikenalkan Persebaya melalui akun resmi @officialpersebaya pada Kamis (4/1/2024).

Dalam potongan video tersebut, Paul Munster mengaku sekarang resmi bekerja sama dengan Persebaya.
\”Hello, I am Paul Munster and I green now,\” tegas Paul Munster.
Belum diketahui berapa lama Persebaya mengikat pelatih asal Irlandia Utara tersebut.
Dengan bergabungnya dengan Persebaya, artinya Paul Munster rela kehilangan jabatannya sebagai Direktur Teknik Timnas Brunei Darussalam.
Paul Munster sendiri menjadi pelatih ketiga Persebaya musim ini.Sebelumnya Persebaya sudah dinahkodai Aji Santoso dan Josep Gombau.
Hingga pekan 21 musim ini, Bajul Ijo memang belum menemukan performa terbaik mereka.
Tugas berat bagi Paul Munster yang diharapkan mendongkrak performa Bruno Moreira dkk.
Setelah ditinggal Aji Santoso, Persebaya ternyata masih inkonsisten.
Bajul Ijo sempat bangkit setelah ditangani pelatih sementara, Uston Nawawi.
