TRIBUNNEWS.COM- Setelah pemecatan Mario Gomez, pihak manajemen Bhayangkara FC menunjuk kembali Emral Abus sebagai pelatih sementara (caretaker).
Diketahui, Emral Abus sudah pernah menjabat pelatih kepala Bhayangkara FC pada Liga 1 musim ini.
Pelatih berlisensi UEFA Pro menukangi tim berjuluk The Guardian pada pekan perdana, Juli 2023 hingga dialihkan menjadi Direktur Teknis per Oktober 2023.
Saat itu, selang satu bulan pihak Bhayangkara FC menujuk Mario Gomez hingga diberhentikan per Kamis (29/2/2024) kemarin.
Walhasil sosok Emral Abus kembali menjadi sebagai pelatih sementara menggantikan Mario Gomez.
Saat kepergian Gomez, pelatih Emral Abus diwarisi masalah yang berat.
The Guardian masih bertengger di dasar klasemen sementara Liga 1 2023/2024.

Radja Nainggolan cs cuma mengantongi 15 poin dari 26 pekan Liga 1.
Butuh sekitar 13 poin tambahan supaya setidaknya Bhayangkara FC menyamai perolehan angka dari Persita Tangerang yang berada tepat di atas ambang batas zona degradasi.
Tentu ujian ini termasuk berat, mengingat Liga 1 tinggal menyisakan delapan musim reguler saja.
Kendati diterpa jalan terjal, sosok Emral Abus tetap merasa optimis menatap akhir musim Bhayangkara FC.
