TRIBUNNEWS.COM- Dalam pertandingan pekan ke-22 Liga Inggris 2023/2024 antara Liverpool vs Chelsea, setidaknya terdapat dua penalti yang dapat terjadi, Kamis (1/2/2024).
Hal itu membuat pelatih The Blues, Mauricio Pochettino, angkat suara dalam laga yang berujung dengan kekalahan 4-1 tersebut.
Satu penalti di antaranya diberikan kepada Liverpool setelah Diogo Jota mendapat tacklekeras dari Benoit Badiashile dalam akhir babak pertama (45\’).
Namun, Darwin Nunez yang maju sebagai eksekutor tendangan gagal melaksanakan tugas dengan baik.
Tendangan bomber Uruguay tersebut hanya membentur tiang kiri dari gawan Liverpool.
Lalu kans penalti kedua sebenarnya juga didapatkan oleh Chelsea pada awal babak pertama (7\’).
Namun sayang, insiden terjatuhnya Conor Gallagher berkat pemain Liverpool, tak membuat wasit menunjuk titik putih.

Perbedaan keputusan tersebut memaksa pelatih Cheslea Pochettino angkat bicara.
Menurut Pochettino, The Blues kurang beruntung dalam keputusan kali ini.
Seandainya Chelsea mendapati penalti terlebih dahulu, mungkin hasil pertandingan dapat berbeda.
\”Ya terkadang Anda memerlukan keberuntungan,\” ujar Pochettino melalui BBC Sports.
\”Insiden penalti dari Conor Gallagher, mungkin bisa membantu kami membangun kepercayaan diri selama pertandingan,\” lanjut eks pelatih Paris saint German tersebut.
