TRIBUNNEWS.COM- Pemain Timnas Indonesia Thom Haye resmi berpisah dengan klub SC Heerenven pada musim ini (2023/2024).
Berarti pemain gelandang tengah itu akan menutup karier yang selama tiga musim telah berjalan (2021-2024).
Besok pada pekan terakhir Eredivisie (Liga 1 Belanda), bakal menjadi laga terakhir Thom Haye bersama SC Heerenveen.
Walhasil membuat pemain berusia 29 tahun sedikit tersentuh menjelang pertandingan.
\”Ini akan menjadi momen spesial bagiku,\” ujar Thom Haye dilansir melalui Oropfryslan.
Dijadwalkan Thom Haye akan mengawal SC Heerenveen saat bertandang ke markas Sparta Rotterdam, Minggu (19/5/2024) pekan ini.
Lebih lanjut, Thom Haye juga merasa sedikit bersalah atas hasil buruk untuk Heerenven.

Sebelumnya, Thom Haye bersama Heerenven sedang berjuang untuk slot Liga Champions, Liga Eropa ataupun Liga Konferensi Eropa.
Namun semua ini gagal karena SC Heerenveen menelan tiga hasil buruk secara beruntun.
Salah satunya ialah saat Thom Haye dkk menghadapi Almere City yang berkesudahan imbang, skor 1-1 (3/5/2024).
Di situ sebenarnya SC Heerenveen bisa memenangkan pertandingan, andaikan Thom Haye sukses mengeksekusi penalti.
Namu sayangnya gelandang Timnas Indonesia itu gagal melaksanakan tugasnya.
Walhasil mendepak keluar SC Heerenveen dari posisi atau slot peringkat kompetisi eropa.
