Diketahui, Australia U23 memang menjadi calon lawan pasukan Shin Tae-yong.
Ya, Australia dan Timnas U23 Indonesia tergabung dalam Grup A Piala Asia U23 2024 bersama dengan Yordania dan tuan rumah Qatar.
Australia akan menjadi lawan Timnas U23 Indonesia pada matchday kedua.
Sebelum itu, Australia akan menghadapi Yordania, sedangkan Timnas U23 Indonesia akan melawan Qatar.
Mengacu jadwal, Piala Asia U23 2024 akan dimulai pada tanggal 15 April dan akan selesai pada 3 Mei mendatang.

Hal itu dikarenakan sang gelandang bertahan andalannya Louis D\’Arrigo dipastikan akan absen.
Absennya Louis D\’Arrigo sendiri dikarenakan pihak klub Lechia Gdansk tak memberikan izin untuk bergabung di Piala Asia U23 2024.
Terlebih ajang Piala Asia U23 2024 tak masuk dalam kalender FIFA.
Kendati demikian, Pelatih Australia U23 Tony Vidmar menghormati keputusan klub.
Louis D\’Arrigo sendiri memang menjadi andalan Lechia Gdansk dalam mengarungi kompetisi di Polandia.
Tercatat, Lechia Gdansk telah melakukan 17 caps bersama Lechia Gdansk di semua kompetisi.
