Diketahui Sandy Walsh secara resmi memilih membela Timnas Indonesia senior sejak 2022.
Sandy Walsh baru mulai debut membela Timnas Indonesia pada FIFA Matchday September 2023 melawan Turkmenistan.
Sementara Thom Haye baru-baru ini tengah melakoni proses naturalisasi.
Memiliki usia yang sama, yakni 28 tahun, Thom Haye dan Sandy Walsh memiliki pengalaman yang hampir sama.
Yap, keduanya sempat membela Timnas Belanda di kelompok usia.
Baik Sandy Walsh maupun Thom Haye, mereka berada dalam skuad yang sama sejak membela Timnas U15 Belanda sejak 2009 silam.Momen paling tak terlupakan yakni saat membela Timnas Belanda U17 di gelaran Euro Championships 2012.
Kala itu Timnas Belanda sukses menyabet gelar juara.
Pada gelaran tersebut, Thom Haye juga masuk dalam jajaran 11 pemain terbaik sepanjang turnamen.
