Namun, yang akan berpengaruh ialah duel dari grup F lainnya yakni, Kirgistan vs Oman.
Di mana jika hasil berbuah hasil menang-kalah maka akan berdampak kepada nasib Timnas Indonesia.
Yap, salah satu negara berpeluang menggusur Timnas Indonesia dari ambang batas klasemen peringkat ketiga terbaik turnamen.
Bahkan jika Oman yang memenangkan pertandingan, maka punya potensi menggusur Thailand jika mampu dikalahkan Arab Saudi.
Dengan demikian Thailand menggantikan posisi Oman di peringkat ke-3 klasemen grup F, dan akhirnya Tim Gajah Perang menggusur Timnas Indonesia dalam perebutan peringkat ketiga terbaik turnamen.
Nasib Timnas Indonesia memang sedang diujung tanduk pasca-kekalahan atas Jepang.
