Kesuksesan Como 1907 promosi ke Serie A musim depan menjadi perayaan pula di Tanah Air.
Pasalnya, klub berjuluk I Lariani tersebut merupakan klub milik pengusaha asal Indonesia.
Yakni Michael Hartono dan Robert Hartono dari Djarum Group.
Djarum Group menjadi pahlawan ketika Como 1907 terseok-seok hampir bangkrut di kompetisi Liga Italia.
Hartono bersaudara lantas membeli perusahaan tersebut pada awal April 2019.
Kala itu Como 1907 masih promosi dari Serie D ke Serie C.
Pada musim pertamanya, Djarum Group berhasil membawa Como 1907 promosi ke Serie B setelah finis di urutan pertama Serie C 2020/21.
Berlanjut di Serie B 2021/22, Como 1907 tampil biasa saja. Pasalnya, mereka finis di urutan ke-13 dengan hanya mengemas 47 poin.
Pada musim setelahnya yakni Serie B 2022/23, Como 1907 juga kembali menorehkan hasil yang sama dengan finis di urutan ke-13.
Belajar dari pengalaman, Como 1907 kemudian bangkit pada musim ini atau Serie B 2023/24.
Di tangan pelatih asal Wales, Osian Roberts, Como 1907 menjelma menjadi tim yang disegani.
Promosi ke Serie A 2024/25 menjadi bukti betapa hebatnya racikan Osian Robert.
Selain berkat Osian Robert, kedatangan Djarum Group di saat-saat genting membuat media internasional memuji Hartono Bersaudara.
BBC menilai, perubahan nasib Como 1907 tidak jauh dari pengambilalihan kelompok Djarum pada lima tahun silam.
