TRIBUNNEWS.COM- Babak Semifinal Piala Asia U23 AFC akan diikuti oleh timnas Indonesia, Uzbekistan, Jepang, dan Irak.
Keempat negara tersebut berasal dari wilayah yang berbeda di Asia.
Ini menggambarkan kekuatan sepak bola di Asia semakin merata dan tidak ada kesenjangan yang terlalu besar dalam kekuatan sepak bola Asia.
Indonesia berada di kawasan Asia Tenggara, Uzbekistan berasal dari Asia Tengah, Irak dari Asia Barat, sedangkan Jepang dari Asia Timur.

Jepang merupakan juara Piala Asia U23 2016, Uzbekistan merupakan juara Piala Asia U23 2018, Irak adalah juara Piala Asia U23 tahun 2013.
Bahkan Indonesia adalah tim debutan yang sedang membuat sejarah di Piala Asia U23.
Mental dan semangat juara Garuda Muda telah teruji saat menaklukkan Korea selatan dalam laga adu penalti 12 penendang yang sangat dramatis.
