TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA – Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) kembali akan menyaksikan laga Indonesia Vs Irak dalam perebutan peringkat ketiga Piala Asia U-23.
Presiden akan menonton laga tersebut usai kunjungan kerjanya ke Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB).
Hanya saja untuk pertandingan ini, Presiden tidak akan menggelar nonton bareng seperti saat Indonesia lawan Uzbekistan.
Presiden kali ini memilih untuk menonton di kamar usai Kunker dari NTB.
\”Nonton di kamar,\” kata Jokowi di Sumbawa, NTB, Kamis, (2/5/2024).
Presiden berharap Indonesia bisa meraih kemenangan pada laga tersebut sehingga bisa mengamankan tiket ke Olimpiade Paris 2024.
\”Menang, InsyaAllah,\” katanya.

Untuk diketahui, meskipun kalah dari Uzbekistan, tim Garuda Muda masih berpeluang lolos ke Olimpiade Paris 2024 lewat dua jalur.
Jalur pertama adalah dengan meraih juara ketiga Piala Asia U-23 2024. Timnas Indonesia U-23 harus mengalahkan timnas Irak U-23 pada Kamis malam ini.
Jika kalah melawan Irak, tim asuhan Shin Tae-yong harus menjalani laga play-off interkontinental melawan wakil dari Afrika, timnas Guinea U-23 dan memenangi laga tersebut agar asa tampil di Olimpiade Paris 2024 bisa terwujud.
