Striker Timnas Inggris Harry Kane akan lewatkan pertandingan melawan Belgia karena masih belum pulih sepenuhnya dari cedera.
Inggris baru saja melakoni laga persebahatan melawan Brazil di Wembley stadium Minggu (24/03/2024).
Laga tadi malam, skuad asuhan Gareth Southgate harus mengakui kekuatan Tim Samba dengan skor akhir 1-0.
Pada pertafingan ini, Kapten Timnas Inggris Harry Kane tidak dapat bermain karena menderita cedera engkel.
Posisinya digantiikan oleh Ollie Watkins sebagai ujung tombak di lini depan.
Setelah melakoni laga melawan Brazil, Inggris memiliki satu agenda lagi di bulan ini melawan Belgia (27/03/2024).
Southgate pun memastikan bahwa pemain berusia 30 tahun itu tidak bisa fit sepenuhnya saat menjamu Belgia.
\”Harry Kane tidak akan fit untuk hari Selasa, jadi dia akan kembali ke klubnya untuk melakukan perawatan,\” ujar Southgate dikutip dari BBC.
Cidera engkel ini ia dapatkan pada saat dirinya melakoni laga melawan Darmstadt di Bundesliga bersama Bayern Munchen pada (16/03/2024).
Pada saat itu Kane turut menyumbang satu gol ke gawang Darmstadt dan membawa kemenangan 5-2.
Dan kini, kabar kapan kembalinya Kane masih belum diketahui.
Dengan hal ini, membuat Bayern Munchen sedikit khawatir.
Pasalnya, Munchen saat ini sangat butuh kemenangan beruntun untuk menyalip pemuncak klasemen Liga German, Bayer Leverkusen.
Thomas Tuchel berharap bahwa cedera yang dialami penyerang jangkungnya akan tidak berlangsung lama.
Harry Kane tampil mengesankan sejak dirinya menginjakan kaki di Munich, German pada Agustus 2023 lalu dari Tottenham.
Pemain berdarah Inggris ini mampu mencetak 37 gol dalam 35 pertandingan di semua kompetisi yang diikuti Bayern Munchen dan memberikan 12 asisst.
