Timnas Indonesia masih mempunyai satu jadwal laga uji coba jelang mentar di ajang Piala Asia 2024.
Satu laga uji coba itu ialah melawan Iran pada Selasa (9/1) di Qatar.
Jelang bentrok melawan Iran, Timnas Indonesia tentu mengusung misi kemenangan demi mendapat motivasi untuk menatap Piala Asia 2024.
Di sisi lain, Iran baru saja tampil apik dengan mengalahkan tim yang menduduki ranking 57 FIFA.
Tim ranking 57 FIFA itu yang dimaksud ialah Burkina Faso.
Berlangsung di Kish Olympic Football Stadium, Iran menang atas Burkina Faso dengan skor 2-1, Jumat (5/1).
Sempat tertinggal dahulu 1-0 melalui Mohamed Konate (16\’), Iran mampu comeback. Dua gol Team Melli (julukkan Iran)itu dicetak oleh bomber FC Porto, Mehdi Taremi (45\’) dan Omid Ebrahimi (70\’).

Mehdi Taremi memang menjadi andalan Iran dalam urusan menjebol gawang musuh.
Penampilan Mehdi Taremi musim ini bersama FC Porto pun cukup memukau.
Dari 24 laga, Mehdi Taremi berhasil mencetak enam gol dan empat assist.
Bahkan dari empat gol itu, dua diantaranya dicetak di Liga Champions.
Yap, FC Porto juga berhasil lolos ke babak 16 besar Liga Champions setelah sama-sama mengemas 12 poin dengan Barcelona yang tergabung dalam Grup H.
Di sisi lain hasil ini tentu sangatlah wajar mengingat ranking FIFA dari Iran berada di angka 21.
Kemenangan itu menjadi modal positif bagi Iran jelang menghadapi Piala Asia 2024.
