Dilansir Footy Ranking, Timnas Indonesia dapat keuntungan terbesar dari kenaikan ranking atau poin FIFA yang didapat.
Dari segi ranking FIFA, Timnas Indonesia setidaknya berhak naik delapan tingkat pada FIFA Matchday kali ini.
Sebelum menjalani FIFA Matchday edisi Maret, Timnas Indonesia masih berada di urutan 143 dengan koleksi 1.088.03 poin.Namun setelah menjalani dua laga melawan Vietnam yang berakhir dengan kemenangan.
Ranking FIFA yang ditempati Timnas Indonesia meroket sampai delapan tingkat ke urutan 134.
Timnas Indonesia setidaknya mampu menggeser posisi Malaysia dan Filipina yang sebelumnya sempat berada di atasnya.
Kini, Timnas Indonesia berhak menyandang status sebagai tim Asia Tenggara dengan peringkat FIFA terbaik ketiga.
Tepat berada di bawah Thailand dan Vietnam yang masing-masing menduduki peringkat 101 serta 115 di ranking FIFA.
Tidak hanya untung besar dari segi kenaikan ranking FIFA, Timnas Indonesia juga diuntungkan dengan poin yang didapat.
Setelah mengalahkan Vietnam dua kali beruntun di ronde kedua Kualifikasi Piala Dunia 2026 pada Maret tahun ini.
Timnas Indonesia berhak mendapat tambahan poin terbesar dari negara lainnya yakni 30.04 poin.
